Hi there,
I'm Sonia and I have been involved in the massage industry since 2002. I hold a Diploma in Remedial Massage and I have qualifications in Dry Needling, Myofascial Cupping, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Lymphatic Drainage. I am a member of the ATMS Association and accredited with all major Health Funds and Workers Compensation.
In 2002 I was working in a busy profession and I wanted to study something unrelated and relaxing. Randomly, Remedial Massage courses kept appearing whilst searching for courses. I enrolled in remedial massage with Australian of Natural Therapies in Surry Hills, NSW and my understanding and interest of massage therapy, the human body on a wholistic level and the effectiveness of massage grew rapidly.
As the owner/operator of 'remedialmassageworx', I never tire of my clients feedback regarding their results achieved with ongoing massage therapy and the education I provide. I am passionate about seeing people incorporate massage into their lives to manage pain/injury/discomfort and for management of their overall wellbeing.
I have worked with thousands of bodies in this profession to date and have treated a large variety of musculoskeletal conditions/injuries and pain. I regularly participate in courses to learn new skills and updated techniques regarding massage therapy, stretching, ergonomics and general health/well-being. My knowledge and experience has given me insight into putting together individual treatment plans for clients.
My belief in massage therapy and making a difference in my clients lives, keeps me passionate about my profession.
